Annexure

A numbered appendix to the gazette notification. Annexure 14 sets the plan's 20 monitoring indicators; annexures also cover things like the prohibited-industries list.राजपत्र अधिसूचना का एक क्रमांकित अनुबंध। अनुलग्नक 14 योजना के 20 निगरानी संकेतक तय करता है; अनुलग्नक निषिद्ध-उद्योग सूची जैसी चीज़ें भी कवर करते हैं।

Carpet area

DDA

Delhi Development Authority - the Central agency that prepares the master plan and executes land pooling schemes, chaired by the Lieutenant Governor.दिल्ली विकास प्राधिकरण - केंद्रीय एजेंसी जो मास्टर प्लान तैयार करती है और लैंड पूलिंग योजनाएँ लागू करती है, अध्यक्ष उपराज्यपाल।

DIMTS

Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System - a Delhi Government/IDFC joint venture; source of the trip-length and mode-share figures on the Transport page.दिल्ली इंटीग्रेटेड मल्टी-मॉडल ट्रांज़िट सिस्टम - दिल्ली सरकार/IDFC का संयुक्त उद्यम; परिवहन पृष्ठ के यात्रा-दूरी व साधन-हिस्सेदारी आँकड़ों का स्रोत।

DPCC

Delhi Pollution Control Committee - the Delhi-level counterpart to CPCB, responsible for publishing local monitoring data.दिल्ली प्रदूषण नियंत्रण समिति - सीपीसीबी का दिल्ली-स्तरीय समकक्ष, स्थानीय निगरानी डेटा प्रकाशित करने हेतु उत्तरदायी।

FAR

Floor Area Ratio - total covered floor area across all storeys, divided by plot area. FAR 400 means you may build four times the plot's area in total floor space.फ़्लोर एरिया रेशियो - सभी मंज़िलों का कुल आच्छादित फ़र्श क्षेत्र, प्लॉट क्षेत्र से भाग। एफ़एआर 400 का अर्थ है प्लॉट क्षेत्र का चार गुना कुल फ़र्श स्थान बनाया जा सकता है।

Gazette

The Gazette of India - the official publication where the Central Government's laws and notifications, including MPD-2047, take legal effect.भारत का राजपत्र - वह आधिकारिक प्रकाशन जहाँ केंद्र सरकार के क़ानून व अधिसूचनाएँ, एमपीडी-2047 सहित, विधिक प्रभाव पाते हैं।

GNCTD

Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi - Delhi's elected government, running health, education, water and waste, but not land use.दिल्ली राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र सरकार - दिल्ली की निर्वाचित सरकार, जो स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा, जल व अपशिष्ट चलाती है, भूमि उपयोग नहीं।

JJ cluster

Jhuggi Jhopri cluster - an informal settlement. The plan's default for these is in-situ rehabilitation rather than clearance.झुग्गी झोपड़ी क्लस्टर - एक अनौपचारिक बस्ती। इनके लिए योजना का मूल नियम यथास्थान पुनर्वास है, हटाना नहीं।

KPI

Key Performance Indicator - one of the 20 measures in Annexure 14 that the plan says it will track progress against.की परफ़ॉर्मेंस इंडिकेटर - अनुलग्नक 14 के उन 20 मापों में से एक जिनके विरुद्ध योजना प्रगति ट्रैक करने की बात करती है।

Land Pooling

A voluntary instrument where owners of contiguous farmland ask DDA to notify a scheme; land splits roughly 60:40 between owners and DDA in exchange for serviced, developable plots.एक स्वैच्छिक उपकरण जिसमें सन्निहित कृषि भूमि के स्वामी डीडीए से योजना अधिसूचित कराने को कहते हैं; सेवायुक्त, विकास-योग्य प्लॉटों के बदले भूमि लगभग 60:40 स्वामियों व डीडीए में बँटती है।

MPD

Master Plan for Delhi - the statutory document this whole site reads. MPD-2047 replaced MPD-2021 on 20 August 2026.दिल्ली मास्टर प्लान - वह वैधानिक दस्तावेज़ जिसे यह पूरी साइट पढ़ती है। एमपीडी-2047 ने 20 अगस्त 2026 को एमपीडी-2021 की जगह ली।

NAAQS

National Ambient Air Quality Standards - India's own permissible limits for pollutants like PM2.5, set by CPCB.राष्ट्रीय परिवेशी वायु गुणवत्ता मानक - सीपीसीबी द्वारा तय पीएम2.5 जैसे प्रदूषकों की भारत की अपनी अनुमेय सीमाएँ।

NCAP

National Clean Air Programme - a national (not MPD-2047) programme targeting a 40% cut in PM2.5 and PM10 by 2025-26 against a 2017 base.राष्ट्रीय स्वच्छ वायु कार्यक्रम - एक राष्ट्रीय (एमपीडी-2047 से अलग) कार्यक्रम, जो 2017 के आधार पर 2025-26 तक पीएम2.5 व पीएम10 में 40% कटौती लक्षित करता है।

NCR

Notification

PM2.5 / PM10

Particulate matter under 2.5 or 10 microns wide - fine enough to enter the lungs and bloodstream, and the main figures used to measure air pollution.2.5 या 10 माइक्रोन से छोटे कण - इतने महीन कि फेफड़ों व रक्तप्रवाह में पहुँच जाएँ, और वायु प्रदूषण मापने के मुख्य आँकड़े।

RRTS

Regional Rapid Transit System - a faster, longer-distance rail network connecting Delhi to satellite cities, distinct from the metro. S.O.

Statutory Order - the reference-number format the gazette uses for notifications. MPD-2047 is S.O. 4597(E).स्टैट्यूटरी ऑर्डर - अधिसूचनाओं हेतु राजपत्र द्वारा प्रयुक्त संदर्भ-संख्या प्रारूप। एमपीडी-2047, एस.ओ. 4597(अ) है।

TFR

Total Fertility Rate - the average number of children a woman is expected to have. Delhi's was 1.5 in 2018, below the replacement level of about 2.1.कुल प्रजनन दर - एक महिला से अपेक्षित बच्चों की औसत संख्या। दिल्ली की 2018 में 1.5 थी, प्रतिस्थापन स्तर ~2.1 से नीचे।

TOD

Transit Oriented Development - the plan's policy of allowing extra FAR near metro and RRTS stations, in exchange for most of that extra space being small homes.ट्रांज़िट ओरिएंटेड डेवलपमेंट - मेट्रो व आरआरटीएस स्टेशनों के पास अतिरिक्त एफ़एआर देने की योजना की नीति, बदले में उस अतिरिक्त स्थान का अधिकांश छोटे घर होने की शर्त पर।

TPD

UER

Urban Extension Road - a ring of new expressways around Delhi's edge. UER-II is where the plan's High Density Corridor policy applies.अर्बन एक्सटेंशन रोड - दिल्ली के किनारे नए एक्सप्रेसवे का घेरा। यूईआर-II पर योजना की हाई डेंसिटी कॉरिडोर नीति लागू होती है।
